. .I TUGCO'S STATUS REPORT l

By its order of May 13, 1980, the Licensing Board further I extended the procedural dates.in this proceeding to permit and encourage settlement negotiations among-the parties. A writ' ten i

status report was directed to be delivered to the Board by each party by 4:00 p.m. June 9, 1980.

Since its May 9, 1980 status report, TUGCO has been engaged in extensive efforts designed to provide the basis for complete settlement of all issues in this proceeding, or, failing that, to provide the basis on which to narrow the issues to be determined by this Board.

These efforts have resulted in a definitive settlement agreement with CSW, copies of which will be made available on June 10, 1980. Moreover, TUGCO has reached substantial agree-ment with the Staff on license conditions designed to remove any concern on the part of the Staff that-TUGCO's activities are 1
