A-101 GINNA QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION

1.0 PURPOSE

To provide instructions for the implementation of the Quality Assurance Program at Ginna Station.

2.0 REFERENCES

3.0 INSTRUCTIONS

3.1 The Ginna Qualtiy Assurance Program requirements as outlined in the Quality Assurance Manual shall be implemented through plant administra-tive procedures.

3.1.1 A1XX through A18XX series of administrative procedures parallel the eighteen sections of the Quality Assurance Manual.

3.1.2 Administrative Procedures are developed and controlled in accordance with References 2.3 and .4.'he 3.2 Quality Assurance Program at Ginna Station shall apply to activi-ties which affect the safety related functions of all existing Seismic Class I structures, systems, and components, including their founda-tions and supports. These structures, systems, and components shall be those designated in the Ginna Station FSAR and listed in Reference 2.1.

3.2.1 In addition, the Quality Assurance Program at Ginna Station shall be applied to the portions of the fire protection program as listed in Reference 2.2.

3.2.2 The Quality Assurance Program also applies to shipping of licensed radioactive materials as defined in 10 CFR 71.

3.3 For activities associated with implementation of modifications at Ginna Station, the Ginna Station organization is complemented by the Ginna Modification Project Organization as described in Reference 2.5.

The administrative procedure described in 3.1.1 shall be used, as applicable, to implement modification project activities.
