Dear Sir:

South Texas Project Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. STN 50-498, STN 50-499 IE Bulletin No. 79-25 Bulletin No. 79-25, received November 5,1979, has been reviewed by Houston Lighting & Power Company. Review of design information received to date indicates that the Westinghouse Type BF0 relays in question are not included in the South Texas Project. Consequently, no immediate ac-tion in this area is necessary. However, if at a later date these relays are included in any South Texas Project equipment, they will be replaced or repaired to eliminate the problems described in this Bulletin.
