ORDER (Scheduling Prehearing Conference Call)
This is to notify Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee L.L.C., Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc., the Vermont Department of Public Service, the New England Coalition of Brattleboro, Vermont, and the NRC Staff that the Board will hold a prehearing conference call on January 24, 2006 at 11 AM EST. At the conference, the parties should be prepared to report on, and discuss, the Staffs estimate of the date when it will submit its Final Safety Evaluation Report (FSER), the schedule for the remainder of the proceeding, including the oral hearing, and mechanisms for the simplification and clarification of issues.
The parties are encouraged to confer prior to the prehearing conference, with the goal of developing and submitting any joint proposals related to the foregoing issues. On or before January 19, 2006, counsel for each of the parties should contact Karen S. Valloch at
301-415-7405 to obtain the telephone number and pass code for the conference call.
