UNITED STATES OF AMERICA NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION In the Matter of ENTERGY NUCLEAR VERMONT YANKEE, LLC Docket No. 50-271 and ENTERGY NUCLEAR OPERATIONS, INC.

(Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station)

ORDER The Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the States of Connecticut and New Hampshire (the States) seek an extension of time to respond to a motion to strike filed by Entergy in connection with the petition currently before the Commission associated with use of decommissioning trust funds at Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station.1 Pursuant to my authority under 10 C.F.R. § 2.346(b), the request is granted. The States answer to Entergys motion may be filed by Friday, January 15, 2016.
