On December 4, 2008, Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, L.L.C. and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (collectively, Entergy), filed a motion for clarification of the Boards Partial Initial Decision, LBP-08-25, issued on November 24, 2008.1 Entergy pointed out an apparent inconsistency in the Partial Initial Decision relating to the schedule for further actions following Entergys submittal of confirmatory environmentally assisted fatigue calculations for the core spray and reactor recirculation outlet nozzles. No answers were filed to the motion.

2 Copies of this order were sent this date by Internet e-mail transmission to counsel for (1)

Entergy; (2) the Department of Public Service of the State of Vermont; (3) New England Coalition; (3) the NRC Staff; (4) the State of New Hampshire; and (5) the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The Board hereby clarifies the decision by deleting the phrase the NRC Staff approves them from the penultimate line on page 67 of the Partial Initial Decision.
