New NRC Daily Notes for August 26, 2011 Daily Notes for August 26, 2011 NRR J On August 25, the staff submitted an International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale (INES) provisional rating of Level 0 to the IAEA in regards to the August 23 loss of offsite power event and Alert declaration at the North Anna Power Station, Per MD 5.12, this submission is in response to international requests for information on the impact of the earthquake on Eastern U.S. nuclear plants. This rating is being submitted on a provisional basis; a final rating will be submitted once further information is available.
