Dear Mr. Grier:

This supplements the above referenced correspondence and provides an update of the information provided in our PLA-466.

Unanticipated problems with check valve operation in the Unit I Core Spray pump discharge vertical pipe run will necessitate rework of the existing bonnet stops. Bechtel NCR 5913 documents this latest discrepancy.

The original problem remains open under MCAR 1-47.

We expect to provide a final report to the Commission by September, 1980.
