References:

I) ULNRC-05830 dated December I5, 20II

2) ULNRC-05892 dated August 2I, 20I2 By the Reference I letter, Union Electric Company (Ameren Missouri) submitted a license renewal application (LRA) for Callaway Plant Unit 1. Reference 2 dated August 2I, 20I2 transmitted Responses to Request for Additional Information (RAI) Set #5.

Reference 2, Enclosure I (page 50 of 50), RAI B2.I.20-I revised the number of socket welds in the original application from 19 to 77. This letter supplements that response with an explanation for revising the number of socket welds, as requested by the Staff during a conference call on April II, 20I3.

The Callaway LRA and all RAI responses and /or amendments are prepared and then subjected to a review process that includes the STARS and Callaway License Renewal Project Groups and individual Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). If errors or omissions in docketed information are identified, the LRA and supporting documents are revised and the application and/or RAI responses are amended as needed. In addition, all LRA changes are reviewed to determine if they result in an impact on related content elsewhere in the application. Impacted portions of the LRA are also amended as appropriate.
