1) ULNRC-05830 dated December 15, 2011 2) NRC Letter, "Request for Additional Information for the Review of the Callaway Plant, Unit 1 License Renewal Application, Set 5 (TAC No. ME7708)," dated July 18, 2012. 3) ULNRC-05886 dated August 6, 2012 By the Reference 1 letter, Union Electric Company (Arneren Missouri) submitted a license renewal application (LRA) for Callaway Plant Unit 1. Reference 2 dated July 18, 2012 transmitted the fifth Request for Additional Information (RAI) related to our application.

Enclosure 1 hereby contains Arneren Missouri's responses to the individual requests contained in the July 18, 2012 RAI. As discussed with the NRC LRA Project Manager on August 20, we have delayed submittal of our RAI our response until today to ensure our responses are complete and accurate.

Enclosure 2 contains LRA Amendment 7 to reflect changes made as a result of the RAI responses.

It should be noted that changes to one commitment (Item #6) are reflected in Table A4-1 (within Enclosure 2). ************************************************************************************************************************
