The purpose of this letter is to provide a corrected page for the Cooper Nuclear Station (CNS) Technical Specification (TS) as revised by Amendment No. 218.

By Reference 1 Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) submitted a license amendment request with markup and final typed TS pages. The logical connectors in Condition A Required Action of TS Section 3.9.1 were correctly aligned on the markup of TS page 3.9-1 but were incorrectly aligned on the final typed page. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Amendment No. 218 by Reference 2 with the incorrect TS page.

The incorrect page issued with Amendment 218 was discussed with the NRC Project Manager for CNS. The project manager requested that NPPD provide the corrected page by formal letter. The corrected TS page 3.9-1 is attached. It is requested that this corrected page be issued to NPPD no later than May 10, 2006, in order to allow adequate time to implement the amendment.

Refueling Equipment Interlocks 3.9.1 3.9 REFUELING OPERATIONS 3.9.1 Refueling Equipment Interlocks LCO 3.9.1 The refueling equipment interlocks associated with the reactor mode switch refuel position shall be OPERABLE.

APPLICABILITY: During in-vessel fuel movement with equipment associated with the interlocks when the reactor mode switch is in the refuel position.
