Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting, between Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc. (SNC, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is to hear SNC's plan to submit a license amendment request (LAR) to remove the function, "Main Steam Line Isolation - Turbine Building Area Temperature - High," from the Technical Specifications for Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2
