Description:

1LTP Revision required after non-impacted storm drain piping became impacted On Tuesday, May 7, 2019, C/LT Technicians collected sediment samples from the bottom of manhole access to the Switchyard storm drain in survey units 10214C and 10214D. The sediment sample collected from the west access point resulted in Cs-137 and Co-60 positively detected at 2.22E+00 pCi/g and 1.80E-01pCi/g respectively. When directly compared against the Operational DCGLs for subsurface soil, the analytical results for the sample (L2-10214C-RJGS-001SM) produced a SOF of 1.514. Consequently, the northern storm drains previously classified as non-impacted are now impacted due to discovery.
