Description:==

On 12/03/19, while performing confirmatory surveys in survey unit (SU), 10209C ORISE HPs detected a concrete piece weighing 283 grams. The concrete piece was discovered approximately two inches below the ground surface. The initial survey with a 2350 instrument and a model 4410 gamma detector with a three-inch collimator. The reading was 38.3K CPM. The average background in the area was 2.9K CPM. A Telepole was used to determine dose rates and showed 0.1 mrRem/hr.
