2) Perform a walk down ofthe FSS Survey Unit and identify decommiss ioning activities adjacent survey units that could have a reasonable potential to spread radioactive material to the FSS Survey Unit [8]

SURVEILLANCE COMMENTS AND OBSERVATIONS: 13: 10 The FSS technician surveyed into the survey unit. The surveillance will consists of a visual walk down. The survey unit has some snow coverage and the ground is frozen. This survey unit consists of sand, clay, and gravel. This survey unit was recently surveyed by ORISE (scanned) and the clay at the east fence which is a subsurface sample location was identified. This location has already been identified during FSS survey and is satisfactory. There were two plastic water bottles removed from the fence area that were blown in. No anomalies. 13:20 The FSS technician completed the survey. The technician perfonned a hand and foot frisk entering and exiting the survey unit. Results: indistinguishable from background using a Model 3, #284338 with 44-9/PR361684, cal due 6-25-20. Background 40-60 cpm. The FSS postings are represented on the furthest outer connecting FSS survey unit, except the east RRA fence is the boundary. The contact information was updated at the southwest access to "contact FSS supervisor on Radio DD-1 ".
