REPORT OF INTERVIEW l
Interviewee Location A. Bert Davis Telephone On September 12, 1985, 01 interviewed A. Bert DAVIS prior to the OI tommission briefing relating to the operator error and. premature criticality of Fermi 2.
DAVIS advised that the information he received relative to the incident was that an insignificant event (operator error) occurred which did i
not warrant Region III interest. DAVIS recalled that when he testified before the Comission and stated that Fermi 2 had only one significant operator error, he did not even think of the operator error of July 2,1985.
DAVIS did, however, advise that had he known of the premature criticality, he would have recommended a postponement of the Comission vote for Fermi 2 full power license.
