Offsite Medical Services Capabilities for State and. local governments Site-Specific to the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station The offsite me'ical d servic.es capabilities of-the State of Arizona and Maricopa. County have been reviewed pursuant to Guidance Memorandum MS-1, Medical Services, and with the exception of one item, all requirements have been satisfied. The exception involves the annotation of the hospital list to indicate ambulatory /non-ambulatory capabilities.

During the May ll, 1983, exercise, the medical activities demonstrated were evaluated and the findings reported in the exercise report. For 1987, the Good, Samaritan Hospital:will participate in'a medical drill on October 9, 1987. The December 1987 unannounced exercise will also include offsite

-medical activities involving an airlift.
