In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, we are enclosing a proposed amendment to licenses DPR-77 and DpR-79 that modifies identified functions of the reactor  ;

protection system (RPS) and engineered safety feature actuation system (ESFAS) instrumentation.

i Three enclosures are provided in support of the requested amendment to the unit 2 technical specifications. The changes are identified in enclosure 1.  ;

The description of and justification for the proposed amendment are provided i 1

in enclosure 2. A determination of no significant hazards consideration i performed pursuant to 10 CFR Part 50.92 is provided in enclosure 3.

Also enclosed is a check for the $150 amendment application fee as required by 10 CFR part 170.12.
