1.0 INTRODUCTION

This instruction provides the controls for the identification of piping materials through color coding, and is a.pplicable to all piping materials. This instruction supports CP-CPM 8.1,

" Material Receiving, Storage, and Issuance".

2.0 PROCEDURE Upon acceptance of piping materials, the color coding of

/,,;f?ON safety-related piping materials shall be authorized by the QC Receiving Supervisor. Upon receipt of the " Authorization <'

to Color Code" form, (Attachment 1), the piping materials /

shall be color coded by the warehouse personnel. The,c,oTor coding shall be in accordance with drawing FSM-00101Ar FSI-00075.

l The QC Inspector will then inspect the color coding,for correctness and clarity.

Color coding of non-safety-related piping materials shall be as discussed above but shall be authorized in writing by Engineering.
