The basis for Elerent Repert EN 21001 Revision 1 dated January 22, 1987, is Employee Concern IN E5-068-002 which states:

This concern was evaluated by TVA as pctentially nuclear safety-related and potentially applicable t: Secuoyah (generic).

Surrary of Issue The issue defined by TVA is that certain sensitive equipr.ent, such as instrurents and instrument panels, is located in a harsh environeent near the icwer portion of the reactor.

Evaluation TVA personnel detemired that the concera is valid in that sensitive ecuipment is located in the areas dascribed.
