This submittal provides the major part of the additional informa-tion .equested by your letter of December 1,1970. The remainder of the information, concernin8 the criteria for continued opera-tion with failed fuel, will be provided in a subsequent transmittal.

Additional informatica relevant to this latter item has been obtained this week from tests performed with the reactor operating. It is expected that this information will be analyzed and this additional information submitted by December 18, 1970.
