Dear Ms. Adensam:

In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 In acccedance with 10 CFR Part 50.90, we are enclosing 40 copies of a requested amendment to the operating licenses, DPR-77 and DPR-79, to change ,

the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant units 1 and 2 technical specifications (T/S).

The proposed changes are provided in Enclosure 1. These proposed changes revise Table 3.6-2 to change isolation logic for containment isolation valves FCV-90-107 through FCV-90-117 The justification for the proposed T/S changes are provided in Enclosure 2.

In accordance wich the provisions of 10 CFR Part 170.22, we have determined the proposed amendment to be Class II for unit 1 and Class I for unit 2.

These classifications are based on the facts that the changes involve a single-safety issue and the dianges apply to two identical units on the same site. The remittance fee of $4,400 is being wired to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Attention: Licensing Fee Management Branch.

This requested amendment has been evaluated pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 and no significant hazards considerations are involved.
