Amendment of Containment Cooling Systems Technical Specifications to Conform to Their Supportina Analyses i
Attached is a request for change to the Technical Specifications, Appendix A of the
- Operating Licenses, for the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant. This request is submitted in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50, Section 50.90. This License Amendment Request will revise Prairie Island Technical Specifications
- 3.3.B.2, Containment Cooling Systems, and their Bases. These proposed
, amendments will bring these specifications into conformance with recently completed system analyses and are consistent with the guidance of NUREG-1431, Standard Technical Specifications, Westinghouse Plants, Revi::ico 1.
On June 26,1996, NSP representatives met with the NRC staff to discuss results of analyses performed in support of Prairie Island's service water self assessment.
This License Amendment Request fulfills the NRC staff request for a timely submittal to conform the containment cooling Technical Specifications to their supporting analyses.
