Enclosed is a " Memorandum of Alabama Power Company In Response To Request of Alabama Electric Cooperative, Inc. For Enforcement Action", together with certain affidavits appended thereto. This responds to the request for enforcement action submitted by Alabama Electric Cooperative, Inc. and dated June 29, 1984, an.' is submit-ted at this time pursuant to my telephone conversation with the NRC's Chief Antitrust Counsel. Alabama Power Company will be pleased to respond to any questions that you or your staff might have regarding this material.

Although no formal service requirernents apply, we are mailing copies of the enclosures to counsel for Alabama Electric Coopera-tive, Inc. and the United States Department of Justice, the two parties who have filed comments with the Commission in recent, re-lated proceedings.
