Alabama Power Company Joseph M.-Farley Nuclear Plant Units 1 and'2 NRC Docket Nos. 50-348A, 50-364A
Dear Dr. Murley:
I am: submitting ~a Joint Stipulation which has been executed by counsel for Alabama Electric Cooperative, Inc. (AEC) and Alabama ~ Power Company (APCO).
The Stipulation records the fact that the controversy which led'AEC to petition-the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to enforce License Condition No. 2 of NRC operating licenses-for the Joseph M. Farley Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2, has been resolved and that no NRC action to enforce that Condition is appropriate.
We request that the NRC withdraw thefNotice of Violation issued on June 16, 1986, and terminate the
. proceeding with respect thereto.
We will appreciate prompt action by the NRC with respect to this request.
very'truly yours, r
