j Pursuant to 10CFR50.90. TV Electric hereby requests an amendment to the

' Facility Operating Licensing (NPF-87) and CPSES Unit 2 Facility Operatir,.
Icense (NPF-89) by incorporating'the attached change into the CPSES Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications. These changes apply to CPSES j
Unit 2 only.
Technical Specification Surveillance Requirement 4 8.1.1.2f requires that the Emergency Diesel Generators be tested on an 18 month basis. -The.
requested change modifies the CPSES Technical Specifications to allow a one-time extension of six months for these EDG and other related 18-month Surveillance Requirements (SR).

To avoid an unnecessary shutdown to perform the SR. TV Electric requests approval as quickly as reasonably possible but no later than November 1, 1994.

approval of the requested changes, TV Electric requests a 30 day implementation period following the date of license amendment issuance.
