DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 SUPPLEMENT TO LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST (LAR)99-001 ADDITIONAL EDITORIAL CORRECTIONS REF: TU Electric letter logged, TXX-99065 from C. L. Terry to the NRC dated May 4,1999 Gentlemen:

In the referenced letter, TXU Electric

• transmitted a licensing amendment request (LAR 99-001) to revise the CPSES improved Technical Specifications (ITS) as previously approved in Amendment 64. The following additional editorial corrections are being provided as a supplement to the referenced letter:

1) LCO 3.2.2 -

The Completion Times for Required Actions A.1.2.2 and A.2 have been moved to align them with the location of their corresponding Required Actions, consistent with NUREG-1431 format.

2) LCO 3.4.11 -

The Note for Required Actions in Conditions C and F are revised to reference " Actions B.2 or E.2"instead of " Actions B.2 or E.3." The Condition "E" Actions had been renumbered but the changes to the note were inadvertently omitted.

3)' SR 3.7.12.4 - SR 3.7.12.4 is revised to add a negative sign to the "0.05 inches water gauge" which had been inadvertently deleted.

4) LCO 3.7.10 - The Applicability is revised to and the word "and" after Mode 5, to be consistent with the NUREG-1431 format.

5) SR 3.8.4.5 -

The units of " ohms" are added to two resistance values in i SR 3.8.4.5 which had been inadvettently omitted. /

• TXU Electric was formerly TU Electric. A license amendment request (LAR 99-003) was submitted per TXX-99122, dated May 14,1999, to revise the company name contained in the CPSES operating licenses.

6) LCO 3.9.5 -

' Consistent with the title of the LCO, the page heading is corrected to be "RHR and Coolant Circulation - High Water Level"instead of "RHR and Coolant Recirculation - High Water."

7) LCO 4.3.1.1 -

The word "in"is deleted from 4.3.1.1.f. because it was duplicated.

The above changes are editorial corrections and are considered to be administrative.

As such the Significant Hazards Considerations Analysis and Environmental Evaluation provided in the referenced letter remain valid for these changes.

Attachment 1 is the required affidavit. Attachment 2 provides the affected ITS pages as of Amendment 64, marked-up to reflect the proposed changes. Attachment 3 provides clean copies (except for the amendment number in the footer) of the revised specification pages.

In accordance with 10CFR50.91(b), TXU Electric is providing the State of Texas with a

! copy of this proposed amendment.
