SUBJECT:
DISTRIBUTION OF OCTOBER 25, 1980 VERSION OF THE TMI ACTION PLAN TRACKING SYSTEM Enclosed is the latest version of the TMI Action Plan tracking system.
There remain a number of items for which no input has yet been received, and I am in the process of gathering infomation as it becomes available.
To expedite the update process, changes in the material may be'done in a number of ways:
1.
A project manager may call me to make minor modifications to the data base.
2.
The enclosed summary sheet may be used filling in only the information that is to be modified and sent to me.
3.
The computer printout may be marked on, and this individual page sent to my office.
If there are any problems / questions regard'ing this material, please communicate them to me at your convenience.
There will be a fomal update procedure initiated in mid-December.
However, the data base will be updated on a regular basis as changes are sent in.
Persons needing a recent version of the tracking system may request one as the need arises..

Project Managers Not Yet Responding to Requests for Status Infomation on TMI Action Plan Items

SUBJECT:
REQUESTED INFORMATION FOR INCLUSION IN TRACKING SYSTEM There have been attempts since August to obtain infonnation regarding the implementation of tha TMI Action Plan items, which has given rise to the Action Plan Tracking system, coordinated through the Office of Management and Program Analysis (MPA).
The system is not automated - it remains a large data set in which is stored sumary information supplied by project managers assigned to the task item.
The purpose of the tracking system is to facilitate comunication between associated action item project managers and to report sumary information on the status of the Action Plan. More specific infonnation will be obtainable through the lead office contact when necessary.
The system has great potential utility, more so as each of the items are completed.
Once the system is complete, a fonnal update cycle will be initiated in December and continue on a quarterly basis until the Action Plan items have been incorporated into tne various office operating plans.
Any questions regarding this procedure, or comment on the fonn and content of the tracking system should be directed to me.
Please return the completed fonns by November 7,1980.
