DOCKET NOS. 50-266 AND 50-301 ADEQUACY OF STATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM VOLTAGES POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 In my letter to you dated February 26, 1982, we stated that we anticipated submitting the additional information you had requested concerning the. adequacy of station distribution system voltages by May 1, 1982.
In conducting the analysis necessary to provide this information, it has become apparent that the final resolution of the setpoints for the degraded voltage protection relays, as specified in Technical Specification Table 15.3.5-1 Item 9, affects the' analysis required by your request for additional information.
In accordance with the footnote to the above referenced specification, we are obligated to provide the NRC with justification for the degraded voltage relay voltage and time delay setpoints within six months of January 11, 1982.
At this time, both these related tasks have been nearly completed.
We are presently preparing our recommendations for the revised degraded grid voltage protective relay setpoints and our responses to your additional information request.
We now anticipate completing these reports in time for a June 1, 1982 submittal.
In order to further minimize the time necessary to get this information into your hands, we have agreed to Mr. Colburn's request that this information be Express Mailed to you as soon as the transmittal has been signed.
