In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50, Appendix J,Section V.B.1, Georgia Power Company (GPC) is submitting the enclosed summary technical report for the Integrated Leak Rate Test (ILRT) conducted on Unit 1 during the Spring 1993 Maintenance / Refueling Outage. A summary of the ILRT results is provided in Section 2 of the report. Appendix II to the report provides a summary of the periodic Type B and Type C tests performed since the last ILRT was performed in 1988.

The as-left leakage rate was 0.3628 weight percent per day which is within the acceptance criteria of 0.9 weight percent per day ( 75La). This value includes leakage penalties added to the 95 percent upper confidence limit to account for penetrations in nonstandard alignments and for water inventory changes.

The as-found leakage rate was within the acceptance limit of 1.20 weight percent per day. The as-found leakage rate was calculated to be 0.7465 by adding the minimum pathway improvements of 0.3837 weight percent per day to the as-left leakage rate.
