TMIA RESPONSE IN SUPPORT OP UCS REQUESTS FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO COMPLETE BRIEFING EXCEPTIONS TMIA supports UCS's motion for an extension of time to April 5, 1982 to complete briefing its exceptions and its request for the Appeal Board to accept its brief for filing and to waive the 70 page limitation.

This case has been in litigation for over two and one-half years, including months of testimony and cross-examination on the safety issues raised by UCS. We believe that it would be a travesty if the Appeal Board did not allow USC the time necessary to brief its issues, particularly since TMI-l has no prospect of operating in the near future.
