. The ' NRC' Staff and GPU Nuclear : Corporation (CPUN) have, in response to the Presiding Officer's. Order of October 2,.1987, met. and con ferred, and have agreed that termination of. the proceeding in accordance. with the provisions of the attached agreement would be desirable and is in the public interest. Accordingly, the Staff and GPUN fointly move the Presiding Officer to approve the terms of the settlement agreement pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 5 2.203, and, provided the parties then j
