She stated she had just become aware on Vedncoday, of a group in Chicago which has developed a long listing of allegations with regaid to the quality assurance program at Zack.
She stat ed that this has direct implication on the itidland, LaSalle, and Clinton sites, and urged us not to go foneard with any licensing action until we had received and investigated these concerns.
She.tated that she or Tom.0cvine would n.eet with the gioup within the next couple of days and they weie going to urge them to give their findings directly to our of fice.
Regarding Midland, she had heard that Region ill was developing a special investigation team to look at itidiand, and she wanted to know how the team was organized and who was on it.
I told her that it was not a special investigation team, but an organization change was being made within the of fice to directly address the problem at Midland.
I stated that I did not know as yet the c.omposition of all the members of that organization, but that it would be reporting directly to the Regional Administrator's of fice, probably through Mr. Warnick.
