Bring the pump to speed over a period of two minutes. Note when the pump. .N A W 1 governor has control and open valve MS-126 fully. M/xc 4.12 Check packing glands for excessive leakage. Af /) vv Check pump and turbine for unusual noise or overheating. 4.13 'Ar/,(__ 4.14 Take balance of readings on data sheet. Continue pump operation for 72 hours recording readings 4.15 hourly except vibration readings which are recorded each k eight hours. NOTE: CUT IN PI-4013A ONLY TO OBTAIN READING. 4.'16 Stop pump by tripping overspeed trip valve. (This AA._ Will keep cooling water on.)
