CLOSURE OF INVESTIGATION (01 4-2012-0009)

Dear Mr. Sunseri:

This refers to an investigation conducted by the NRC 's Office of Investigations regarding activities at Wolf Creek Generating Station. The Office of Investigations initiated the investigation to determine whether a former quality assurance/quality control non-destructive testing supervisor at Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Company's Wolf Creek Generating Station, Burlington, Kansas , was subjected to discrimination when he raised a concern regarding a potential hostile work environment.

Based on the evidence developed during the investigation, the allegation that a former quality/quality control non-destructive testing supervisor employed by Wolf Creek Generating Station was subjected to discrimination when he raised a concern regarding a potential hostile work environment was not substantiated. The NRC plans no further action related to the discrimination aspect of this allegation and considers this investigation closed.
