The Region I Field Office, NRC Office of Investigations (01), initiated an investigation (Case No.

1-2009-042) on July 2, 2009, to determine whether a former Peach Bottom Security Shift Supervisor (SSS) and Training Coordinator deliberately or improperly provided security officers answers to computer-based questions on required Nuclear General Employee Training (NGET) and respirator annual exams while proctoring the exams. Based on evidence developed during the investigation, the NRC was unable to substantiate that the individuals deliberately or improperly provided answers to questions during NGET and respirator annual exams.

Please note that final NRC investigation documents, such as the 01 report described above, may be made available to the public under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) subject to redaction of information appropriate under the FOIA. Requests under the FOIA should be made in accordance with 10 CFR 9.23, Requests for Records, a copy of which is enclosed for your information.
