Dear Mr. Pham:

Staff from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation

("Department") had the opportunity to meet with staff of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission ("NRC") and their contractors on September 11, 2007 at the Indian Point NuclearEnergy Center. The meeting was held as part of the NRC's environmental site audit and it gave the Department an opportunity to discuss with NRC staff about the environmental review process.

During the meeting a part of the discussion focused on the available information related to the fish and shellfish resources of the Hudson River. Department staff indicated during the meeting we would provide any additional information that may be beneficial to the NRC environmental review. Therefore, in addition to the information already provided as part of the Department's formal scoping comments, the Department is providing the following reports; Hudson River Estuary Reports, March 2004, Disk 1 - 7; Abundance and Stock Characteristics of the Atlantic Tomcod Population in the HudsonRiver 2001-2004; Normandeau Associates, December 2006*;

Hudson River Striped Bass Program 1997 - 2001; Nonnandeau Associates, December 2006*.
