April 5, 2005 U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION REGION I NOTICE OF SIGNIFICANT MEETING No.05-019 Licensees: Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, LLC (NMPNS), and Entergy Nuclear Northeast (Entergy)

Facilities: Nine Mile Point Units 1 and 2, and James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant Docket No. 50-220, 50-410, and 50-333 Time and Date: 7:00 p.m. on April 28, 2005 Location: Assembly Hall in the Town of Scriba 42 Creamery Road Oswego, NY 13126

Purpose:

To discuss NRCs assessment of the safety performance of the Nine Mile Point Nuclear Power Station and James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant for calendar year 2004. NRCs assessment is documented in letters to Entergy and NMPNS dated March, 2, 2005.

FitzPatrick D. Dempsey, Resident Inspector, James A. FitzPatrick Public Participation: This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting and will have the opportunity to discuss the performance at Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station and James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant with the NRC. The NRC will also conduct meetings on Nine Mile Point and FitzPatrick performance with the licensees and the public at the Joint News Center (Oswego County Airport), County Route 176, Fulton, NY between 12-2 p.m., on April 28, 2005 (See Notice 05-017 and Notice 05-018).
