This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.
Purpose:
The purpose of this teleconference meeting between Constellation Energy Generation, LLC (CEG, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss the licensee's plans and schedule related to the submittals of license amendment requests (LARs) to adopt Technical Specifications Task Force (TSTF) Traveler TSTF-505, Revision 2, "Provide Risk-Informed Extended Completions Times - RITSTF [Risk-Informed TSTF] Initiative 4b," and Risk-informed categorization and treatment of structures, systems and components (10 CFR 50.69) for Nine Mile Point Nuclear Station, Unit No. 1.
