In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-259 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-260 50-296 BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT (BFN) - NO CANDIDATES FOR GENERIC FUNDAMENTALS EXAMINATION SECTION (GFES) EXAMINATION The purpose of this letter is to comply with an NRC request by letter, dated April 3, 2003, from Mr. Michael E. Ernstes to Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant. Specifically, NRC requested that TVA provide a list of BFN candidates for the NRC GFES examination to be conducted on June 4, 2003.

BFN will not submit any candidates for the June 4, 2003 GFES examination. If you have any questions, contact T. L. Chinn at (256) 729-3439.
