Management Meeting on January 18, 1990 This refers to the management meeting held in the Region V office on
~ January 18, 1990 between members of the Supply System and Region V
management.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss items of interest pertaining to activities authorized by NRC License NPF-21.
Subjects discussed during the meeting are summarized in the enclosed meeting report No. 50-397/90-02.
This meeting included a review of your actions to address the motor operator bolting problems and the related maintenance improvements that are scheduled to be undertaken by the Supply System.
We* will continue to monitor your efforts on these issues.
While it appears that WNP-2 is beginning to take on the characteristics of a
, maturing operating facility, it is important that your staff follow through on the various improvement programs which have been initiated.
The methods you have put in place to monitor these efforts should be carefully managed to provide assurance that these programs are carried to completion and that they accomplish the intended objectives.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a),
a copy of this letter and the enclosure will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
