REVISION 9, TO THE WNP-2 EMERGENCY PLAN This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter of September 6, 1989, which transmitted Revision 9 to the WNP-2 Emergency Plan.
We have completed our review of your Emergency Plan.
On December 6, 1989, and during a recent NRC inspection conducted December 18-22, 1989, Mr.
K.
Prendergast of my staff had discussions with Mr.
R.
Chitwood and other members of your staff regarding the changes to your Emergency Plan.
Based upon these discussions, it is our understanding that a number of items from these discussions, which are documented in NRC Inspection Report No. 50-397/89-39, will be reexamined and presented to the Plant Oversite Committee for consideration during the next revision to the Emergency Plan.
It is our conclusion that the revised Emergency Plan, continues to meet the planning standards in 10 CFR 50.47(b)
and the requirements of Appendix E to 10 CFR 50.
