Announced Preoperational Physical Protection Inspection on February 16-19, 15827ReportNo. 50-387/82-05)
Areas Inspected: A review of the Physical Security Plan and Implementing Procedures; Security Organization -- Management; Security Organization --
Personnel; Security Organization -- Response; Security Program -- Audit; Physical Barriers -- Protected Area; and Lighting.
The inspection involved 28 inspector-hours ensite by a Region I inspector.
The inspection began during regular working house and 2 inspection hours were accomplished during offshift periods.
Results:
Violations were not appropriate as the physical security plan had not been approved. Weaknesses were identified in the Security Plan and Implernen-ting Procedures and in LigSting.
