SUBJECT: NOTICE OF VIOLATION (NRCINSPECTIONREPORTNOS. 50-369/86-20 AND 50-370/86-20)
i This refers to the special team inspection of Environmental Qualification conducted by the NRC July 28 - August 1,1986, of activities authorized by Operating License Nos. NPF-9 and NPF-17 for the McGuire Nuclear Station.
The results of this inspection were previously sent to you by our letter of December 1,1986.
The inspection team identified seven deficiencies classified as Potential Enforcement / Unresolved Items.
We have determined from a further review of these matters that there was one violation of NRC requireraents with multiple examples.
The multiple examples were identified as items 50-369, 370/86-20-02, -04, -05, -06 and -07.
The violations, references to pertinent requirements, and elements to be included in your response are presented in the enclosed Notice of Violation.
Potential Enforcement / Unresolved Items 50-369, 370/86-20-01 and -03 were reviewed in the Region and are considered closed.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practice," Part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter, its enclosure, and your reply will be placed in the NRC's public Document Room upon comp-letion of our evaluation of the reply.
The responses directed by this letter and the enclosed Notice are not subject to the clearance procedures of the Office of Management and Budget as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1980, Pub. L.86-511.
