This refers to the routine safeguards inspection conducted by Mr. A. O. Hill of this office on November 16-20, 1981, of activities authorized by NRC License Nos. NPF-2 and NPF-8 at the Farley Nuclear Plant facility and to the discussions of our findings held with Mr. G. Hairston, III, Nuclear Generation Plant Manager, at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection included your physical security program as implemented under the provisions of Title 10, Code of Federa'. Wegulations, Part 73, "Physica' Drotection of Plants and Materials" and the specific requirements of y + approved Security Plan. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, performance tests, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of thic inspection, no violations or deviations were disclosed.
We have examined actions you have taken with regard to previously reparted unresolved matters. The status of these items is discussed in the enclosed report.
The ma+.erial enclosed herewith contains Safeguards Information as defined by 10 CF.s 73.21 and its disclosure to unauthorized individuals is prohibited by Section 147 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
Therefore, the material, with the exception of the report cover page which is an inspection summary, will not be placed in the Public Document Room.
