Arsas Inspected:
Routine, unannounced S p ction of the licensee's physical security program. The areas inspected within the physical security program included protected area physical barriers, detection and assessment aids, testing and maintenance, Physical Security Plan and implementing procedures, security program audits, compensatory measures, physical barriers - vital area, access control personnel, lighting and personnel training and qualifications.
Results: Within'the areas inspected, one violation was identified (inadequate vital area barrier, paragraph 8).

The licensee's management has completed 55 of their original security program commitments to install new security hardware systems. The upgrading of the alarm stations has recently.been included in this project and'the entire commitment is expected to be completed ahead of schedule.
Security' personnel are being trained in contingency responses.but increased performance is not yet visible.
