(Closed) (311/79-21-03): Containment sample. line configuration, location and desig The licensee indicated to the inspector (via flow patterns) that operation of the ventilation system, consisting of the fan cooler units, the control rod drive vent fans and the reactor nozzle support and shield vent fans would provide a thorough*mix of the containment air mass so that a single sampling point would provide a reasonable estimate of any containment radioactivity that may be present in the movement of the contained air*mass by the ventilation systems *
- In addition, the licensee stated that all releases from the containment to, the environment are routed through the Plant Vent Radiation Monito Sampling for the Plant Vent Radiation Monitor is performed as recommended by ANSI 13.1-1969 11Guide to Sampling Airborne, Radioactive Materials in Nuclear Facilities.
For in plant releases the licensee performs periodic surveys of the containment atmosphere. This data is utilized to perform validation of the sampling technique for the containment atmospher The inspector had no further questions. This item is resolve (Closed) (311/79-21-04):
