The licensee acknowledged this information, and said that the program would be formulated prior to the shipment of the first load of nuclear fuel, scheduled for February 8,1974. This item is unresolved.
(Details, Paragraph 31 C.
The inspector stated that his review of carbon steel hangers in contact with stainless steel piping had been postponed until the next

Nuclear Fuel Insocction I
The inspector was told by the licensee that delivery of the initial fuel load (BS1) would start February 8,1974 at the rate of 5 ship-ments per week. The licensee's program for site inspections of the fuel had not been completed. The inspector stated that he planned to conduct a detailed examination of the fuel inspection and quality assurance programs, and their implementation. This item is unresolved.
4.
Stainless Steel - Carbon Steel Contacts on Hancers The inspector found a number of instances where carbon steel appear-ed to be in intimate contact with stainless steel pipelines. This had occurred primarily on pipe hangers and supports. This condition was called to the licensee's attention. The licenses presented
evidence to the inspector that an active survey for this condition was currently being pursued, and that corrections were being made, including surface treatment of the stainless steel. The licensee
,
demonstrated, by the use of a magnet, that some of the hangers which appeared to be carbon steel were actually stainless steel. The inspector stated that he would re-examine the piping for this condi-tion at the next inspection. This item is unresolved.

5.
River Water Pump Motor Failure u.
"
The licensee stated that the Nuclear Service River Water Pump Motor g
NRP IB 1 - d failed in service due to a breakdown in the electrical insulation. Repairs to the motor were in progress. This failure has no relationship to the two previous failures of Nuclear Service
'
River Water Pump Motor NRPIC, which were reported to have been caused by improper pump bearing adjustment. This item is unresolved.
