By letter dated February 10, 2011, Carolina Power & Light Company (CP&L), doing business as Progress Energy Carolinas, Inc., submitted an Inservice Inspection (ISI) Summary Report for the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant, Unit No. 1 (HNP). This report was prepared in accordance with Section XI of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, 2001 Edition with addenda through 2003, and ASME Code Case N-532-4, as approved in Regulatory Guide 1.147. That report was for HNP's Cycle 16 operations and refueling outage number 16 (RFO-16) of the third 10-year ISI interval.

Enclosed are two pages representing corrections to that report. The first corrects the refueling outage number in the Certificate of Conformance signed by the Owner's Designee. The correct refueling outage was provided in the Form OAR-1 Owner's Activity Report, but it was not carried forward to the Certificate of Conformance. The second corrects the description of work on Code Class 3 component 1SW-124, from "Replace 2 [inch] valve" to "Replace 8 [inch]

valve." The errors in the submittal were entered into the Corrective Action Program.

1. In the "CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMANCE" Section the outage was incorrectly identified as RFO-15. The correct outage is RFO-16. The incorrect outage identification has been one-lined and initialed and dated and the correct outage has been inserted.

2. In "Table 2 Abstract of Repair/Replacement Activities Required for Continued Service", valve 1SW-124 was misidentified as a 2.00" valve. The correct valve size is 8.00". The incorrect valve size has been corrected in Table 2.
