DPR-51 and NPF-6 Technical Specification Change Request Concerning Open Containment Airlocks During Core Alterations Gentlemen-By letter dated May 19,1995 (OCAN059505), Entergy Operations requested technical specification' changes to allow containment airlock doors to remain open during core alterations. In subsequent conversations with the StafE it was determined that additional clarifications were needed with respect to the requested bases changes. It is the intent of Entergy Operations to designate an individual to monitor the condition of the opened airlock doors during core alterations and to assure closure of the airlock door following containment evacuation. The assurance that the open airlocks will remain unobstructed will be
, administratively controlled in site procedures. Any items passing through the airlocks that 7 could obstruct closure of the door will have either quick disconnect capability or will be !
